set_properties_from_lambda(filename)

Set the properties of the gas from a Leiden Atomic and Molecular Database (LAMDA) file. The filename can either be a local file, or the name of a valid file in the LAMDA database, which will be downloaded and stored in the pinball-rt cache in the user’s home directory if it is not already present.

Parameters:

filenamestr

The name of the LAMDA file to load. This can be a local file path or the name of a file in the LAMDA database.
